About Greyhound racing and The Greyhound Project

Greyhound racing is a highly controversial issue.  While The Greyhound Project does not take a stance on greyhound racing, the fact remains that the racing industry produces thousands of dogs that can no longer remain competitive each year. The Project's goal is to educate current and potential adopters on the nature of these gentle, loving dogs, thereby increasing the rate of Greyhound adoption.
